Goodbye 2025
… you deceptive dumpster fire

It has been quite the year. Mine was filled with assorted physical trials but also some really good food. One can’t complain too much. A good dumpster fire just adds a bit of smoke flavor to good food. Finding the creative spin on this year. Not toxic positivity, because if we were having coffee and you asked me how my years was…. It would get colorful for sure.
I’m ending the year with lots of playlists, caipirinhas and a total studio rework and cleaning. The end of the year feels different for me. It is more focused than usual and I hope that transfers into 2026.
No resolutions. No promises of this or that. Just a slow but intentional forward motion. Keep an eye on those mailboxes. Old projects are getting finished and will need homes. I’m making envelopes filled with what I want to call “art confetti”. They are heading out into the world this week. There’s no new Christmas playlist this year, but there is a playlist. Enjoy it to the fullest. Here’s the link to a post with Christmas playlists should you need them.
May you each have a week filled with something that brings joy. What are you looking forward to? See you in the new year.
